I still consider bench to be a weak link for me out of the three lifts in powerlifting. It has been many years since I have actually benched. I use to favor more towards a lot of incline and strict overhead work. I’m just starting to make my way back and trying to get stronger. I really love doing the floor presses and it really helping me to develop a foundation to bust through my sticking point. Here was my workout.
A.) Floor Presses 175lbs. x 2 reps
B.) Bench Press 115lbs. 2 sets x 15 reps supersetted with Pull ups
C.) Strict Barbell Overhead Press 75lbs. 3 sets x 12 reps supersetted with Pull ups
D.) Double Kettlebell Shrugs 32kg 3 sets x 15 reps
E.) Band Pressdowns 100 reps
F.) Hanging Leg Raises 100 reps
